Digital learning and orientationReview the SSI learning materials and start with a clear briefing on equipment, safety, and course expectations. Typical training days run from about 8:15 am to 2:00 pm.

Confined-water skill practiceBuild comfort with buoyancy, mask skills, regulator recovery, communication, and basic emergency procedures.

Open-water training divesApply the skills with real dives, instructor feedback, and a gradual increase in confidence and independence.
