Scuba Tulum FAQ

Some dives require certification, especially cenote and advanced profiles. If you are new to diving, we can recommend beginner-friendly options or a course before moving into guided dives.

Certified newer divers can often enjoy calmer, open cenote routes when conditions and comfort are right. We match sites to your certification, recent experience, buoyancy, and confidence.

Yes. Private trips are available for couples, families, and groups who want a custom pace, more personal support, or a route built around specific goals.

Tell us your certification level, comfort in the water, travel dates, and what kind of experience you want. We will point you toward the best-fit dive, course, or snorkeling plan.

Dive in Playa is our sister dive shop in Playa del Carmen. If you are staying in Playa, it can be the more practical base for reef dives, bull shark season, whale shark departures, some courses, and Playa-friendly cenote days. If you are staying in Tulum, Scuba Tulum remains the simplest starting point. Tell us where you are staying and what you want to do, and we will help you choose the right base before you book.

Booking ahead is best, especially for cenote routes, private trips, and course dates. If your dates are close, contact us and we will confirm what is still available.
