Before you book, here's what to know about deposits, cancellation windows, weather changes, certification requirements, medical fitness, and the balance due when you arrive.

Booking and dive-day policies

Cancellation and reschedulingStandard changes or cancellations should be requested at least 48 hours before the activity. Late cancellations and no-shows may lose the deposit or payment already made.
Holiday periodsFor Christmas, New Year, and Easter dates, changes or cancellations should be requested at least 7 days before the scheduled activity.
Weather and operationsScuba Tulum may adjust the schedule, route, dive site, or activity if conditions make the original plan unsuitable. If we cancel for safety or operational reasons, we will help reschedule or confirm the appropriate refund path for the booking method.
Safety authorityGuides and instructors may refuse participation, change the plan, or end an activity if a guest is not fit to dive, does not follow safety instructions, or conditions require a conservative decision.
Certification and experienceCertified dives require proof of certification. Some dives also depend on recent experience, comfort, training level, and conditions on the day.
Medical fitnessDivers must be medically fit to dive. Some medical conditions, medications, or recent health changes may require written clearance from a doctor before participating.
Payments and feesWhen online booking is available, the booking page may collect a deposit and show the full trip price. The remaining balance is paid on arrival. Card processing fees may apply.
What to bringBring certification proof, swimwear, towel, any required medical form, and cash or card for remaining balances, entrance fees, or personal expenses that are not included in your specific booking.
